A rebar scanner drifts, and the only way to prove it has not is to run it over a block whose steel you already know. The TD6 carries main reinforcement at 10 to 90 mm cover and stirrups at 19 to 99 mm, in non magnetic material, with multiple bar spacings for a full check.
