Heavy Duty Submersible Sewage Pump
These are the pumps that go down a manhole or into a flooded foundation and stay there. All cast iron, with lifting eyes for a chain or rope, long submersible cable and an open impeller that passes solids rather than choking on them. They are what contractors hire in for monsoon dewatering and what municipal and housing society teams keep for sewage lines.
